MANILA, Philippines — TNT flexed its muscle and showed no mercy after annihilating NLEX, 125-96 to advance to the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup best-of-seven semifinal series on Tuesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Tropang Giga won their quarterfinal series, 3-1.

Do-it-all import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson banged in 35 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Tropang Giga’s swashbuckling offense.

Rey Nambatac added 19, while Roger Pogoy chipped in 18 for TNT, which shot 57.5 percent from the field, and dominated the rebounding department, 50-30.

Calvin Oftana finished with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds, Glenn Khobuntin also had 11, while Poy Erram added 10 and nine boards.

TNT will face the winner of the Rain or Shine-Magnolia quarterfinal pairing.

The Hotshots torched the Elasto Painters, 129-100 earlier in the day to force a sudden death Game 5 on Saturday.

Robert Bolick led the Road Warriors with 25 points, five rebounds and seven assists, import DeQuan Jones had 21, while rookie Jonnel Policarpio and Jhan Nermal had 12 and 10, respectively.
