Sharaf Cargo has appointed Absolom Ngari as General Manager for the Africa Region, as the company aims to accelerate its strategic expansion across the continent. In his new role, Ngari will be responsible for overseeing commercial strategy, driving business development, managing airline partnerships, and strengthening stakeholder engagement. He will also coordinate Sharaf Cargo’s activities across Africa while contributing to the company’s wider global initiatives as part of the leadership team.

Ngari brings with him 18 years of extensive experience in air cargo management, strategy, and commercial leadership. His career spans a variety of senior roles at prominent organisations including AB Africa Aviation Consultancy Ltd, Aero Africa, Global Focus Logistics Ltd, Turkish Airlines Cargo, TAL Aviation Cargo, Africa Direct Ltd, Africa Potential Consulting, and Swissport Cargo Services. His deep understanding of Africa’s air cargo market, coupled with a strong track record in cargo sales and business development, positions him well to support Sharaf Cargo’s growth ambitions in the region.
