MANILA, Philippines — Oil companies are poised to implement a big-time price hike this week.

Shell, Cleanfuel, Caltex, and Seaoil announced Monday that the prices of gasoline will go up by P2.65 per liter, diesel by P2.70 per liter and kerosene by P2.60 per liter.

The price adjustments will take effect on Tuesday, October 15.

Last week, oil companies raised the cost of diesel by P1.20 per liter and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.
