MANILA, Philippines — Jovan Medallo of the Philippines on Saturday won two gold medals at the Asian Kickboxing Championships in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) on Saturday mentioned that Medallo won the Musical Forms with Weapon and Musical Form Open Hand events, and even bagged a bronze medal at the Creative Form with Weapon event.
Meanwhile, Janah Lavador secured three bronze medals at the Musical Forms (both with and without Weapon) and Creative Form with Weapon events.
The pair were the first to take action in their respective finals.
As of this writing, the country has 2 gold and 10 bronze in the Asian Championships.
