MANILA, Philippines — Defending champ De La Salle University blasted Adamson, 70-45, at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion on Saturday to clinch its sixth straight win and secure a Final Four berth in the UAAP Season 87 men’s basketball tournament.
The Green Archers improved to a 9-1 slate, a record that would still be enough to make the semis as five teams have at least six losses already including the Soaring Falcons who dropped to 3-6 after the loss.
Kevin Quiambao racked up 17 points, six rebounds, and three assists for La Salle, which pulled away with a 25-11 second frame storm.
Cedrick Manzano banged 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists to pace Adamson.
