With her success in the world of business, Sherill Gutierrez has decided this time to also serve the public and give back to the community.
On Tuesday, Gutierrez has filed her certificate of candidacy for councilor in the town of Subic, Zambales in the 2025 midterm elections.
She is the owner of SDG Petroleum Products Retailing in the province of Zambales and a resident of Barangay San Isidro, Subic, Zambales.
“Ang pagtakbo natin ay para sa buong bayan ng Subic at handang-handa na tayo maglingkod (I am running for the whole town of Subic and I am ready to serve),” Gutierrez said.
“Makakaasa po ang mga Subiqueño ng paglilingkod kagaya ng ating butihing Mayor Jon Khonghun. Kaisa nya tayo sa pagiging public servant na may kalinga tungo sa kaunlaran ( I will serve the Subiqueño just like our good Mayor Jon Khonghun. We are one with him as a public servant with compassion towards progress).”
If she is voted to the municipal council, she will focus on health and education, she said.
