Three weather systems will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
Pagasa said the shear line may affect parts of Central and Southern Luzon, while the northeast monsoon or amihan is expected to bring rains in Northern Luzon and the rest of Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will also drench Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Pagasa said the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Visayas, the rest of Mimaropa, the rest of Bicol Region, Zamboanga del Norte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Aurora, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes due to the shear line.
The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains in Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to the rest of Luzon.
The rest of Mindanao will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
