The Cebuana Lhuillier Tennis Team proved its dominance anew as it defended its title at the 41st PCA Open Men’s Team Tennis Championship with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Gimaca-PCA in the finals.
Demonstrating unmatched skill and relentless determination at every turn the team charged into the championship match by scoring a 3-1 victory against PCA-JK Tyre in the semifinals.
The team also scored big in the 65-above category as seasoned players Ernie Dino, Domeng Feliciano and Remo Librodo delivered their best. The 60-above division saw the dynamic presence of Jackie Tomacruz, Henry Escalante, Adelo Ruado, and Rolly Oliquino.
In the 55-above group, Jean Henri Lhuillier, team captain Gerard Maronilla, Dustin De Torres, and Gilbert Estrada demonstrated grit and expertise.
The 50-above lineup was bolstered by the seasoned athletes Derrick Santos, Tonito Payumo, Roy Tan, and Noel Lontok, while the 45-above division was represented by Jon Jon Lim, Jojo Miranda, and Rollyto Litang, each delivering a fierce and strategic performance.
At the heart of this powerhouse team is Jean Henri Lhuillier, president of Unified Tennis Philippines (UTP).
His unwavering commitment to both the sport and his team has been instrumental in building the legacy of the Cebuana Lhuillier Tennis Team. Through his leadership, the team has risen to become the most decorated club in PCA Men’s Team Tennis history.
