According to NEU President and Board of Trustees Chairman Alberto Domingo Jr., “The website is designed to support faculty, students, and staff by providing easy access to research resources, guidelines, funding options, and NEU academic journals.”

“The launch of this website is an exciting step forward in building a strong research community at NEU,” Domingo added.

“The event was attended by university officials, administrators, academic teaching personnel and non-teaching personnel, including the celebration of this significant milestone in NEU’s ongoing commitment to advancing research and scholarship,” University Research Center director Julie Gregorio said.

The URC website is a centralized hub for NEU’s research resources, providing access to research guidelines, publication opportunities, funding information, and links to university publications such as the “Knowledge Journal,” “Likha Journal” and “Kaningningan Journal.”

This platform is designed to streamline the research process, allowing faculty members, students and staff to efficiently engage with the university’s research initiatives and access critical resources for their scholarly work.

During the launch, Gregorio highlighted the significant role of the website in NEU’s strategic efforts to foster a robust research culture.

He emphasized that the new platform aligns with the university’s vision of promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and establishing NEU as a leading institution in research and innovation.

“This website is more than just a digital presence for the URC; it is a powerful tool to connect, inspire, and elevate the research contributions of NEU’s faculty and students,” Gregorio said.

“By enhancing access to research support and opportunities, we are empowering our community to reach new heights in academic excellence,” he added.

The URC website offers resources, namely research guidelines, funding opportunities, journal access and upcoming events and training.

Domingo applauded the initiative, stating that the launch of the URC website is a testament to NEU’s commitment to research and academic growth.

The URC website launch represents a significant step forward in NEU’s mission to support and promote research excellence.

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to visit the new website and explore the tools and resources at their fingertips.

The university is optimistic that this platform will foster a vibrant, collaborative research environment that continues to build NEU’s academic legacy, according to the University Research Center News report.
