MANILA, Philippines —Former PBA import Cameron Clark, along with ex-Bay Area Dragons guards Kobey Lam and Glen Yang banner incoming foreign guest team Hong Kong Eastern for the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup, which kicks off on November 27.

The 6-foot-7 Clark, who played for NLEX in 2022, before returning to reinforce San Miguel Beer last year, is expected to provide rebounding and solid inside game for the Hong Kong ball club.

The former Oklahoma product brings in solid pro basketball resume, which included leading club team Elan Chalon to the LNB-Pro A championship in France, en route to earning a spot in the LNB All-Star as well as emerging as the tournament’s scoring champion.

The stocky Clark will form a solid front court tandem with Canadian big man Chris McLaughlin, a 6-foot-10 standout from the University of Victoria.

Lam and Yang, meanwhile were notable playmakers and outside shooters, who left a mark when they played key roles in helping the Dragons reach the Commissioner’s Cup Finals last season.

Bay Area lost to Barangay Ginebra in an epic seven-game championship series. Both squads played in Game 7, which was witnessed before a new PBA all-time record crowd of 54,589 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Before joining HK Eastern, the 24-year-old Lam saw action for the Santa Black Dragons in The Asian Tournament.

HK Eastern is also part of the East Asia Super League (EASL) Season 2 home-and-away tournament, where it dropped a 78-67 decision to the Hiroshima Dragonflies last October 16.
